About this beta
HerSerre is an early prototype. We’re testing whether a quiet, guided reflection helps women see their own strengths. Thank you for being one of the first.
It's a reflection, not therapy
Nothing here is medical, psychological or financial advice. It describes; it never diagnoses.
Please don't write anything sensitive
No health details, no financial account numbers, and nothing you’d be upset to lose or have read. This is a test version, so please keep a copy of anything precious to you.
Who is responsible for your data
HerSerre is run by JCMB CONSULTING, a French company (SASU) at 84 rue de Charenton, 75012 Paris, France. JCMB CONSULTING is the “data controller” for this beta. Contact: contact@janebertch.com.
What we collect
Your first name, email address and country; your answers to the life-stage questions; your written reflections; the 9 strengths you choose for your peony; and your feedback on the beta. We do not collect payment details.
Why we collect it
To show your reflections and your peony back to you, and to learn whether HerSerre helps, so we can improve it. We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
Our legal basis
Your consent, which you give before you start (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account; this does not affect anything done before you withdrew.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of service providers, each under a data processing agreement with us:
- — Supabase: stores your account and answers, and sends your login link.
- — Vercel: hosts the website.
- — Customer.io: sends your invitation and login emails.
No AI service receives your answers in this beta.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on servers in the United States. If you live in the EU or UK, this is a transfer outside Europe. Our providers protect it with the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where they are certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. [CHECK: which region your Customer.io account uses.]
How long we keep it
Until six months after the beta ends, then we delete it, unless you delete it sooner. [CHECK: add the beta end date once you set it.]
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, receive a copy, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent. Write to contact@janebertch.com and we’ll reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to a data protection authority: in France, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or the authority where you live.
Who can take part
You must be 18 or older.
If you're struggling
You deserve support from a person. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 any time. Elsewhere, call your local emergency number or visit findahelpline.com to find free support in your country.
Deleting your account
Use “Delete my account and data” on your answers page, or email contact@janebertch.com. Everything is permanently erased.
